Thematic Strategies

Thematic strategies are just that: based on a theme. Themes can be sectoral in nature, for example Energy; they may be secular trends, such as AI, or they can be geopolitical, such as China. Themes can also be based on specific investment clubs, such the Seeking Alpha club known as Alpha Picks. We have an entire section dedicated to Club Investing.

Secular, geopolitical, social and other thematic strategies bring focus to a “hot” theme, and thematic strategies should be reviewed periodically (we recommend quarterly or semi-annually) to determine that they are still differentiated as themes.
